自古同性相吸

男同性恋者被称为 gay ,女同性恋者被称为 lesbian;从词源考证来看,lesbian 源于希腊语 lesbios ,而 lesbios 是从 lesbos 一词演化而来。lesbos 是女诗人莎弗所居住岛屿的名称,莎弗以描写女性之间的爱而闻名。故此,后人就称女同性恋者为 lesbian。

追溯 lesbian 一词的历史可以看出,女同性恋自古就有之。而男同性恋则是后来才有的,因为 gay 的原义为「光亮的、快活的」,而后才演化成男同性恋者的指代词。 此外 lesbian 除了指女同性恋外,还有「色情的,好色之徒」 的意思。

在古希腊,同性恋就被认为是美的象征,是勇敢、忠诚、友爱和深情的标志;同性恋也是古代文人生活方式的重要内容。古希腊三大哲学家苏格拉底、柏拉图和亚里斯多得全都是同性恋者。西方著名艺术家、音乐家很多也是同志,如达文西、米开朗基罗、舒伯特、柴可夫斯基等;而西方文学巨匠莎士比亚更是文艺复兴时代最著名的同性恋者。他们的性向没有阻碍天赋的发展,他们都创造了人类艺术难以逾越的高峰。

这印证了:伟大的艺术天才心理上都是「雌雄同体」,他们异于常人的性能力和性取向正是他们获得艺术升华的心理动力。

中国历代皇帝重男色、好男风的记载不绝如缕,史称「分桃」「断袖」之好;而中国第一个文学作家、伟大诗人屈原据说也是同性恋者。

花尾渡拍拖 ~

现今人们对男女交往称之为「拍拖」,而「拍拖 」两字却不是外来语,它正是源自粤语方言。

大约清朝末期,在广东内河航行的客船都由一艘形体较小的蒸汽火轮船用绳索拖着航行,两船之间保持一定的距离,这种航行方式就是「拖渡 」了。当客船行到下游的珠江三角洲时,河道变窄,小火轮便要靠在客船旁边并列拖着客船航行。粤语中将靠在一起称之爲「拍」,于是便将大小两船相靠并行称爲「拍拖」。

拍拖原爲珠江口一带航运俗语。珠江口航运发达,通常大船载货并拖小船一艘,主航道大拖小;近岸时,大船吃水深,难以靠岸,此时小船便卸货上岸,来回相依。

花尾渡,是 20 世纪广东水路客运全盛时期的一种内河运输工具,船体硕大,楼高三层。上层爲餐楼(一等客舱)、中层名公舱(二等客舱)、下层及船首均爲货舱。花尾渡以其不设动力机舱爲特点,由小火轮(俗称「温底」)拖带 装修漂亮的花尾渡行驶于水上,状如天鹅流弋。晚间船身霓虹放亮,远远看去有若灯山;因其容量大、噪音小而深受旅客欢迎。

「拍拖」是花尾渡运行时的一种操作方法。以广州爲例,旧时内河船码头设在长堤一带,河面复杂,船艇很多;而花尾渡与小火轮之间的拖缆长达十丈,迂回靠泊无法操作,因此在出港啓行时采取「拍拖 」的办法:即两船并拢,中间用粗缆扣牢;两船一长一短,互相依偎,追波逐浪。

船离广州拍拖至南石头,便要停船报关。此处河面已变宽,于是便开始「放拖」,小火轮用拖缆拖带着花尾渡,迳行驶向目的港;到码头靠岸後便实行「甩拖」,小火轮自去下锚停泊,宣告本次航行结束。

如此特别的行船方法,就有如情侣逛街;後来男女在街上相伴而行,人们便嘲笑他们在「拍拖」,久而久之,这种航运用语「拍拖」便演化成男女之间谈恋爱的代名词。

而今,曾经于广州盛极一时的花尾渡早已无踪可寻,但花尾渡航行法「拍拖」一词却在香港大行其道;人们也只知「拍拖」 两字意为男女两情相悦,而其真正原意已鲜爲人知了。
